The surprise announcement of the General Election had a slightly stalling effect on the Residential Sales Market because, as with most markets, uncertainty is not a good thing. Since the election, there have been some rate reductions by both the Bank of England, and some banks and Building Societies, which undoubtedly has brought confidence to buyers and sellers alike.
With more reductions from the BOE predicted, the immediate future for the property market looks very positive.
