I contacted Yas yesterday about a persistent problem I had with noise from the flat below. Yas responded to me immediately, sought out further information. By the end of the day the noise problem (going for over half a year and impacting on my sleep and health) had been identified and dealt with effectively by Yas. I am not sure whether this will be an absolute end to the problem - as I have previously spoken to the tenant and their landlord with limited outcome. The tenant has repeatedly denied the problem exists at all. Yas, however, has moved this being seen as a problem I just have to silently put up with.

I am aware that one of our residents recently contacted you regarding intercom communications. A retired gentleman with an invalided wife who does require nursing services we were concerned about issues some care staff had in gaining access. He felt that the installs system was faulty, despite all the flats reporting similar issues. Yasmine Austin worked tirelessly with the various contractors and ourselves to resolve. She also made multiple on site visits. The issue was eventually resolved in that the flat owners mobile was old and virtually obsolescent. Upgrading has resolved the issue. Similar problems with the landline are also suspected to be due to obsolescent equipment and the likelihood that some of the internal cabling with in the owners flat may be faulty. The intercom system works on 5G for mobile phones but has to be routed through old BT copper cables for landlines. Relatively few owners now have a landline installed in their flats. Yasmine has proved to be a reliable and responsive person in the managing not only of our block, but the whole of the estate, and has more than justified our choice of Pearsons as our managing agent.
