We are looking for an experienced Payroll/Accounts Clerk for our busy head office. However, we will consider candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of the key functions listed below:
The role includes:
• Download daily bank statements
• Bank reconciliations
• Update the supplier bank details templates
• Pay suppliers, checking that the payments to be made are correct and modify where necessary
• Monthly journals
• Input customer invoices
• Record monthly income and prepare data for staff salaries etc
• All payroll duties including staff data input, P11d submissions, pensions and PAYE/NIC
• Filing
• Email/telephone queries
• In office position
Skills Required:
• Sage Payroll (essential)
• Sage 50 (essential)
• Excel (essential)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• IT skills preferrable
• Good attention to detail is essential
Working Hours - Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm

We require a part-time Lettings/Block Management Accounts Clerk for our busy central Southampton Accounts Department
We are looking for an experienced Lettings/Block Management Accounts Clerk for our busy accounts department. It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have some industry knowledge or experience in either lettings or block management. However, we will consider candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of the key functions listed below:
The role includes:
• Prepare and pay landlords statements on a daily basis, checking that the payments to be made are correct and modify where necessary
• Prepare and pay service charge statements on a daily basis, checking that the payments to be made are correct and modify where necessary
• Pay contractors/utility bills
• Process new move-ins on a daily basis
• Process tenant deposit refunds and return within prescribed time limits
• Monthly deposit reconciliation
• End of the month bank reconciliation
• Monthly transfer fees by intercompany transfer
• Email queries
• Month-end procedures
• Filing
• In office position
Skills Required:
• Lettings experience (preferable)
• Knowledge of CFP lettings/Blocks on-line management software (preferable)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Good attention to detail is essential
Working Hours - Monday - Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm (6 hours per day). Holiday cover will be required.
