Auction Market Update Summer 2026

Having already delivered three successful auctions this year, we are now looking ahead to our next auction on Wednesday 15th July.

Competitive guide prices, combined with realistic advice and a tailored marketing approach, have played a key role in this year’s success. With less than a week to go, interest levels are extremely encouraging, with strong viewing activity and a high number of legal pack downloads pointing towards a busy and exciting auction room on the day.

We have also received several pre-auction offers, giving vendors added confidence that sales can be achieved ahead of or on auction day.

The auction market continues to complement the private treaty market, with our sales offices also reporting strong levels of activity and an increase in new properties coming to market across our branch network. Through our network of local offices, we are able to connect auction properties with motivated cash buyers actively looking for opportunities.

Our fifth auction of 2026 will take place on 2nd September, with the entry deadline on 31st July. If you have a property that you feel may be suitable for auction, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to talk you through the process and explain the benefits of selling by auction.
