Autumn 2025 Auction Market Update

Having hosted five auctions so far in 2025, with our last auction being on the 3rd of September 2025, the auction market has seemed to grow in the second half of the year. Key to this has been agreeing competitive guide prices with our clients in the first instance and giving good initial advice. The auction market is certainly dovetailing the private treaty market; with both being very price sensitive. We work with motivated cash buyers who can view our auction properties through our network of local Pearsons offices, and I am pleased to confirm that we have 13 lots confirmed for our next auction on the 22nd of October 2025 with good levels of interest already being shown and viewings taking place.

The most important thing to remember when selling by auction is, a successful sale results in an immediate exchange of contracts, with completion agreed for 20 working days thereafter making the whole process much quicker and more efficient.
