Team Hythe Skydive for Charity

Well done to Karien, Karen and Mark from Pearsons Hythe office, together with Jan Whitewick (PA to the MD) who completed their skydive recently to raise funds for the Alzheimers Society.  Great achievement guys for a fantastic cause.

Karien’s Mum, who worked for Pearsons alongside the team at Hythe, is sadly suffering with dementia and therefore this makes this charity close to their hearts.

Three of the Best Join the Southampton Branch

Due to expansion and promotion the sales team at Southampton
are pleased to announce some new recruits.  Sasha Cosier has joined as Lead Sales Coordinator with the
responsibility of keeping a sales team organised and sellers updated on the
progress of the sale of their home, and arranging new viewing appointments
amongst a whole plethora of other duties she is one busy lady! With a wealth of
experience in all parts of the business Lee Turner, Director commented “We are
delighted to welcome Sasha on board and have already seen the benefit of her
experience and understanding the need to deliver outstanding results through
excellent customer service”

Noah Bradwell has joined as a Sales Coordinator having
previously been responsible for looking after all aspects of running an
independent village based Estate Agency in Southampton. Noah was looking for an
opportunity to take a “step up to a new challenge” and is a keen sportsman
with a determination to exceed all expectations.

Sam Mansbridge is the latest recruit. Calm under pressure
with a “can do” attitude Sam completes the recruitment drive. With many years
industry experience Sam is looking to assist sellers and buyers achieve their
objectives. Commenting on his appointment Sam added “I am pleased to have the
opportunity to help Pearsons customers and clients. Moving home can be
stressful and distracting, having a strong understanding of objectives and an

Round-up of our first auction of the year

7th February was our first auction of 2018 and it was very encouraging to see well over 100 people in attendance. This resulted in a lot of activity in the room with bidding quite frantic on several of the lots.

Whilst the older style do-ups continually prove to be the most attractive opportunities on the day, everything will sell, it is only a matter of price.

Clients ask me how the eventual selling prices relate to the published price guides. So for this auction I can tell you that we averaged 18.6% over the guide on those lots that sold. Money wise this equated to £36,000 per lot which just goes to show that things do not necessarily sell cheap on the day.
